Soft Naturals: Neckline Help

You might be a Soft Natural if: high necklines make you feel like this.

"But why?" you might ask. "I just read an article called12 Wardrobe Staples For The Suburban Beekeeper and it said that turtlenecks are a must-have."

So - for starters, just ignore those articles. They're always heavily biased towards the author's preferred style. The only staples that are truly universal are underwear and flip-flops for the pool shower.

Which leads us to the real question: WHY don't Soft Naturals do well with high necklines? The answer: our strong shoulders can make our heads seem small in comparison. A lower neckline balances us out visually.

Here's Scarlett Johansson, a Soft Natural and one of the world's most beautiful women, breaking the SN neckline rule and paying the price.

Oh no, Scarlett, what is you doin

Second question: IF we're doing lower necklines, is V-neck or round neck better?

The answer: Match your chin shape! Or rather, your jawline as a whole. Is it angular, with a pointy chin? Go for the v-neck. Is it soft and rounded? Go for the round neck.

Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Jennifer Lawrence are great examples of this. They're both Flamboyant Naturals, which is going to have to be close enough because there are far more FN's than SN's in Hollywood right now. Grrrrrrrr. Anyways....Astrid, on the left, has the perfect face shape for v-necks; Jennifer would go for rounded necks.
