Soft Dramatic: An Outfit For The Renaissance Festival

Because your wardrobe isn't complete until you have an outfit for each of your hobbies! Also this dress has a lot of good Soft Dramatic details and I thought it would make a good teaching moment.

Rennaisance Festival outfit for the Kibbe Soft Dramatic woman

Notice the green bodice-thing - see how the shoulders have that upside-down triangle shape, joining together in the back? That's called a Queen Anne neckline, and it's one of the very best for Soft Dramatics.

The puffed sleeves are perfect for you, as is the long length of the sleeves.

The cinched bodice and open neckline complement your curves.

And while all the above details would look great on a Theatrical Romantic as well, it's the floor-length skirt and large details that set it apart for the Soft Dramatic. The wide trim, long-waisted bodice, and green square-thingies look perfectly normal here, on this tall model, but a petite type would appear to be overwhelmed by them.
