A niche question, admittedly, but my day job is photography related so this is a concern I see a lot! The Big Dress is just freakin' gorgeous in pictures, but you're afraid you'll look swamped. Or you're not a fan of your bony cleavage. Or maybe there are just too many options! How do you choose??
It's all about the little details.
The Lettie Gown: Fitted shoulder seams and more structured fabric make this perfect for the Dramatic Classic. Also a good choice for Soft Classic and both Gamines.
The Sophia Satin Robe: This super-flowy fabric is everything on the Soft Natural. Soft Dramatics and Flamboyant Naturals would also rock this.
The Layne Gown. Who likes turtlenecks? Both Dramatics, both Classics, both Gamines. It only comes in black and white, so here's a similar one with more color options.
The Everly Gown is perfect on Flamboyant and Soft Natural. It comes in both velvet and a light and flowy version.
The Lydia Gown has the sophistication to keep up with the Classics:
For the Romantic and Theatrical Romantic: I love how the Anka Gown gives that beautiful flowy effect without creating an unflattering vertical line.
For the Soft Dramatic: you are in luck - the vast majority of photoshoot dresses are designed with you in mind! But I understand the overwhelming nature of too much choice. Anything with this neckline is perfect. The one below would be lovely on a Theatrical Romantic as well.
Incredibly regal. Dramatic Classic, Soft Dramatic, Flamboyant Natural.
Rough-edged linen gives such a fairytale vibe to the Soft Natural. Is there a version of this that my not-currently-pregnant self can buy and wear nonstop? Equally lovely for Romantic types.
