I'm Cricket, Your Kibbe Guide.

My nerdy hobby is categorizing clothes by color season and Kibbe body type. If that's something that can be helpful to you, a very merry welcome!

Some of the sites I post have affiliate partnerships with me. Others don't, but I post them anyway because I pride myself in being the last ACTUALLY honest affiliate marketer on the internet.

For the color seasons, I go by the 12-tone True Colour System International.

They're not affiliated with me either, I just think they're the best!

How To Get The Most Out Of This Site:

You could read â€‹All Posts from start to finish, but it's really designed to be more personalized than that!

  • Want to get notified immediately when I post about your type? Good idea - these pieces sell out fast! Sign up here.

  • Not sure what your Kibbe type is? Enter your email here and I'll send you the Kibbe test I created for my clients - the ONLY test based on actual clothing items, and for many people, the only one that makes any sense.

  • Need something so specific that I haven't posted about it yet? Email me at kibbeguide@gmail.com! I'll send you multiple options for wedding guest dresses, your postpartum work wardrobe, or anything else that your life requires. No charge, although I will probably turn it into a blog post (keeping you anonymous, of course!)

What are you guys talking about??

Body types and clothing styles! David Kibbe outlined the Kibbe Style Archetypes in his book "Metamorphosis." He divided the clothing world into five basic body types, each with two sub-types:

Natural: Flamboyant Natural and Soft Natural

Classic: Dramatic Classic and Soft Classic

Dramatic: Dramatic and Soft Dramatic

Romantic: Romantic and Theatrical Romantic

Gamine: Flamboyant Gamine and Soft Gamine

The Kibbe system is seeing a resurgene in popularity, partly because it's refreshingly body-positive. Your natural design suits you. There are no wrong bodies, only wrong clothing!
